Apologies to all who wondered if I'd dropped off the planet, I sort of did. Depression got the better of me for the summer and autumn and I sort of stumbled zombie-like through my work days with not a lot of energy left to do anything else. And, as always, meditation was one of the first things to fall by the wayside.
This day will be a series of sitting periods, short talks and group discussions on Right Concentration which is the last of the eight path factors in the Noble Eightfold Path.
The emphasis will be on silent sitting (and walking).
Maili will be your hostess. I will have coffee and tea as well as a snack. We will potluck lunch.
Please bring a cushion to sit on, and a small mat if you have one as I have hardwood floors. I will have chairs, carpet and some yoga mats available to sit on for those who need them.
