The Strength to See by Thanissaro Bhikkhu

This simple talk is about facing our own pain rather than avoiding it, denying it or blaming it on others/ourselves. I am experiencing this in trying to help a non-verbal student in my care. I am reflecting my past experiences, fears and frustrations off of him. I am trying to reduce his pain and accept him for who he is. Yet I cannot seem to deal with my pain nor that of my co-workers. I am going to try and talk about this others in a more constructive and honest way as has been suggested in this tape.
